Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• UR/EWS: 40 years
• OBC: 43 years
• SC: 45 years

Educational Qualifications:

• MBBS Degree must be from an institution recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The degree should be listed in the First or Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Act (excluding licentiate qualifications). Candidates with qualifications under Part II of the Third Schedule must meet the conditions of Section 13(3) of the Act.
• Postgraduate Degree in Orthopaedics or an equivalent recognized qualification from a recognized medical teaching institution. Eligible degrees include MS (Orthopaedics) or DNB (Orthopaedics) as per Section-A of Schedule VI.

Experience:

• A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Orthopaedics after obtaining the first postgraduate degree.
• Experience must be as Senior Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, Registrar, Assistant Professor, or Lecturer in the relevant specialty.
