Position Details

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- UR/EWS: 40 years
- OBC: 43 years
- SC: 45 years
Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS Degree must be from an institution recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The degree should be listed in the First or Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Act (excluding licentiate qualifications). Candidates with qualifications under Part II of the Third Schedule must meet the conditions of Section 13(3) of the Act.
- Postgraduate Degree in Orthopaedics or an equivalent recognized qualification from a recognized medical teaching institution. Eligible degrees include MS (Orthopaedics) or DNB (Orthopaedics) as per Section-A of Schedule VI.
Experience:
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Orthopaedics after obtaining the first postgraduate degree.
- Experience must be as Senior Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, Registrar, Assistant Professor, or Lecturer in the relevant specialty.

- Medical Education: Delivering theoretical and practical instruction to medical students, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
- Research & Innovation: Leading scientific research in the field of Orthopaedics, contributing to medical advancements.
- Patient Care: Providing specialized treatment, including diagnosis, surgery, and rehabilitation for orthopaedic conditions.
- Administrative Duties: Performing responsibilities as assigned under the Specialist sub Cadre of Central Health Service Group “A”.
