Educational Qualifications

Applicants must hold an MBBS degree recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act. Additional eligibility criteria include:

  • Postgraduate degree in the specialty or super-specialty of Nuclear Medicine from an institution listed in Schedule VI, Section-A of the Indian Medical Council Act.
  • Acceptable postgraduate degrees include:
    • MD (Nuclear Medicine)
    • Diplomate National Board (Nuclear Medicine)
    • MD (Radio-Therapy) with two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
    • MD (Medicine) with a diploma in Radiation or Nuclear Medicine
    • MD (Radio-Diagnosis) with two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
    • MD (Bio-Physics) or equivalent, with a diploma in Radiation or Nuclear Medicine

Experience Requirement

Candidates must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience in the relevant specialty or super-specialty. The experience should be acquired in roles such as:

  • Senior Resident
  • Tutor
  • Demonstrator
  • Registrar
  • Assistant Professor
  • Lecturer

Job Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for a variety of academic, research, and patient care activities, including:

  • Teaching medical students, residents, and trainees in the field of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Conducting research and contributing to advancements in the specialty.
  • Providing specialized patient care services.
  • Performing any additional duties assigned by the department.
