Eligibility Criteria

1. Private Secretary (Post Code: PS-2025)

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be an officer holding the post of Stenographer under Central/State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, Research Institutes, Statutory, or Autonomous Organizations.
• Should hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department OR have five years of regular service as a Stenographer in Pay Matrix Level-6 (Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200).
• Candidates with experience prior to January 1, 2006, will be considered under the corresponding grade pay structure of that period.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as of the closing date of application.

2. Stenographer Grade II (Post Code: Steno-2025)

Essential Qualifications:

• 12th standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• Stenography & Typing Skills:
  • English Stenography: Minimum 80 words per minute (wpm)
  • English Typing Speed: Minimum 35 wpm with transcription (50 min) on computer

Age Limit:

• General candidates: Not exceeding 27 years as of the closing date of application.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  • OBC candidates: 3 years
  • Government servants, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Widows, Divorced Women: As per government norms
